ORDINANCE NS- 1266
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANAADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN
FOR STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 15A, AND AMEND-
ING ARTICLE VII, CHAPTER 41 OF THE SANTA
ANA MUNICIPAL CODE
W/{EREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Santa
Ana Planning Commission has recommended the adoption of
Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 15A which revises the
alignment of a portion of Flower Street as established by
Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 15, adopted by the
City Council by Ordinance NS954; and
WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council on
July 14, 1975, on notice as required by law, said Council
determined that the Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 15
should be revised between Pine Street and Sixth Street and
that the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such
change, and that the adoption of Specific Plan for Street
Alignment No. 15A will not be detrimental to the general wel-
fare of the people of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, other amendments to the Santa Ana Municipal
Code are necessary to clarify additional Specific Plans for
Street Alignment on Flower Street which were previously
approved by official action of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Specific Plan for Street Alignment
No. 15A be adopted, and that Section 41-734.2 be added to
Article VII, Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as
follows:

Flower Street from Pine Street to
Sixth Street.
SECTION 2. That Section 41-734 of Article VII,
Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to read
as follows:

Specific Plan for Street Alignment
No. 15
Flower Street, between Sixth Street
and Civic Center Drive West.
Flower Street, between Tenth Street
and Seventeenth Street.
SECTION 3. That Section 41-734.1 be added to Article
VII, Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as follows:

Flower Street, between Civic Center
Drive West and Tenth Street.
SECTION 4: If any section, subsection, sentence,
clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of
any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares
that it would have adopted this ordinance and each section,
subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irre-
spective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections,
clauses, phrases or portions be declared invalid or unconsti-
tutional.
SECTION 5: The Clerk of the Council shall certify
to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause
the same to be published in the official newspaper of the
City of Santa Ana within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the
4~h day of August , 1975.

foregoing Ordinance was introduced to said Council at its
regular meeting held on the 21.~t day of
1975, and was again considered by said Council at its
regular meeting held on the 4th day of
August , 1975, and was at said meeting passed and
adopted by the following vote, to wit:
