ORDINANCE NO. NS-1311
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO.
740 INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION,
PREZONING UNINCORPORATED PROPERTY IN THE
M1 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT, AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 30-5-9
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~mission has initiated Amend-
ment Application No. 740 to prezone property generally located
on the north side of Dyer Road between Halladay Street and
Grand Avenue in the M1 District, and has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application, and
has recommended approval thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public
hearing on said reclassification on published notice as required
by law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience,
and general welfare require that the said property be prezoned
in the M1 (Light Industrial) District, and that such classifica~
tion will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA DOES ORDAIN that the parcel of real property in the County
of Orange, California, specifically described in Exhibit AA. 740-B,
attached hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set fortk,
is hereby zoned in the M1 (Light Industrial) District, said
zoning to be effective upon the annexation of the said property,
or any part thereof, to the City of Santa Ana, and that Sectional
District Map 30-5-9 is hereby amended to show such classifica-
tion in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 740-A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the
2nd day of AUgust , 1976.
