NS-1315 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 742 INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION REZONING PROPERTY FROM THE Cl (COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT TO THE C4 (PLANNED SHOPPING CENTER) DISTRICT, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 27-5-10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has initiated Amend- ment Application No. 742 to rezone property generally located on the south side of Warner Avenue between Greenville Street and Fairview Road from the Cl (Community Commercial) District to the C4 (Planned Shopping Center) District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said application after notice and hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on published notice required by law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the said property be reclassified from the C1 (Community Commercial) District to the C4 (Planned Shopping Center) District, and that such new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, California, described as Parcels 1, 2, and 3 as shown on a map recorded in Book 35, page 46 of Parcel Maps, Official Records of Orange County, California, is hereby reclassified from the C1 (Community Commercial) District to the C4 (Planned Shopping Center) District, and that Sectional District Map 27-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassifi- cation, in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 742-A. SECTION 2: Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor the repeal hereby of any ordinance shall in any manner affect the prosecution for violation of ordinances, which violations were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be con- strued as affecting any of the provisions of such ordinance relating to the collection of any such license or penalty or the penal provisions applicable to any violation thereof, nor to affect the validity of any bond or cash deposit in lieu thereof, required to be posted, filed or deposited pursuant to any ordinance and all rights and obligations thereunder apper- taining shall continue in full force and effect.
