ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1327
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING
AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 745 FILED BY TUSFORD-
WARMINGTON REZONING PROPERTY FROM THE R4 (SUBURBAN
APARTMENT) DISTRICT TO THE R4-PRD (PLANNED RESI-
DENTIAL DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT, AND AMENDING SEC-
TIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of
and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 745,
filed by Tusford-Warmington to rezone property, generally located
on the east side of Williams Street between Seventeenth Street
and Wellington Avenue from the R4 (Suburban Apartment) District
to the R4-PRD (Planned Residential Development) District, and
said Commission has recommended approval of said application;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hear-
ing on said reclassification on published notice required by law,
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that the said property be reclassified
from the R4 (Suburban Apartment) District to the R4-PRD (Planned
Residential Development) District, and that such new classifica-
tion will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l: That the real property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, California, described as being a portion
of Lot 4 of subdivisions of the Mabury Tract as per map recorded
in Book 36, Page 65, miscellaneous records of Los Angeles County,
is hereby reclassified from the R4 (Suburban Apartment) District
to the R4-PRD (Planned Residential Development) District, and
that Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification, in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 745-A.
SECTION 2: Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor
the repeal hereby of any ordinance shall in any manner affect
the prosecution for violation of ordinances, which violations
were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be con-
strued as affecting any of the provisions of such ordinance re-
lating to the collection of any such license or penalty or the
penal provisions applicable to any violation thereof, nor to
affect the validity of any bond or cash deposit in lieu thereof,
required to be posted, filed or deposited pursuant to any ordi-
nance and all rights and obligations thereunder appertaining
shall continue in full force and effect.
