ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1376
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
FIXING THE RATE OF, AND LEVYING, TAXES
ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY FOR
ALL MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, BEGINNING JULY
1, 1977 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1978.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
AS FOLLOWS:
ORDAIN
SECTION 1: For all amounts required for the usual and
current expenses for municipal purposes for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1977 and ending June 30, 1978, a tax of One
Dollar and Forty Four Cents ($ 1.44 ) is here-~-~
levied upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of assessed valu-
ation of all taxable property in the City of Santa Ana. Said
tax is hereby apportioned among the various funds as follows:
For the GENERAL FUND, $.72
on each $100.00 of the taxable property in said City;

For the LIBRARY FUND, $.15
on each $100.00 of the taxable property in said
For the RECREATION AND PARK FUND, $.06
on each $100.00 of the taxable property
in said City;

For the CAPITAL IMPROIFE~IENT FUND, $.14
on each $100.00 of the taxable property in said
For the RETIREMENT FUND, $.37
on each $100.00 of the taxable property in said City.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon the date
of publication hereof.
SECTION 3: The Clerk of the Council shall transmit to the
County Auditor of Orange County a certified copy of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: The Clerk of the Council shall cause this
ordinance to be published in "The Register" within fifteen (15)
days after its adoption.
