NS- 1467 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 806 TO PREZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF TUSTIN AVENUE NORTH OF FIRST STREET IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO THE C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP NO. 8-5-9. WHEREAS, the real property located on the west side of Tustin Avenue north of First Street, and more particularly described infra, is presently in unincorporated territory of the County of Orange contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, and is presently included by the said County of Orange in the P-A (Professional-Administrative) use district of the said County; and WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 806 has been filed by the City of Santa Ana to prezone such real property to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) Use District, pursuant to section 41-188 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application No. 806, and has recommended approval of said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application on published notice as required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare requirethat said property be classified in the C5 (Arterial Commercial) District, and that the said classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; and WHEREAS, prior to taking this action, the City Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in Negative Declaration, I.S. NO. 78-233, and, on the bases thereof, approves said Negative Declaration and its finding that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, generally located on the west side of Tustin Avenue, north of First Street, and more particularly described on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, is hereby prezoned to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) District, and that Sectional District Map No. 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 806-A ADOPTED this 18thday of the following vote: December , 1978, by AYES: NOES: ABSENT: ATTEST: COUNCILMEN: COUNCILMEN: COUNCILMEN: AP~,~, ~/~S~©cLERK OF TH~ COU~CI..~ K~/~ G ~, ~ t~y A t t or ney Ward, Garthe, Bricken, 0rtiz, Yamamoto, Evans None Brandt~~'~////~ ./~/~,?
