ORDINANCE NO NS-1480
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 809
TO PREZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST
SIDE OF TUSTIN AVENUE, BETWEEN FIRST AND
FOURTH STREETS, IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
TO THE C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP NO. 8-5-9.
WHEREAS, the real property located on the west
side of Tustin Avenue, between First and Fourth Streets, and
more particularly described infra, is presently located in
unincorporated territory of the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 809 has been
filed by the City of Santa Ana to prezone such real property
to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) Use District, pursuant to
Section 41-188 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice
of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application
and has recommended approval thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public
hearing on the said Amendment Application on published
notice required by law and does now find that the public
necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the
said property to be classified as requested in the said
Amendment Application, and that the said classification will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and
WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City
Council ha~ reviewed and considered the information contained
in Negative Declaration, I. S. No. 78-257, and, on the basis
thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant
effect on the environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the
City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
generally located on the west side of Tustin Avenue, between
First and Fourth Streets, and more particularly described in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein as though
fully set forth, is hereby prezoned to the C5 (Arterial
Commercial) District and that Sectional District Map No. 8-
5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in
accordance with Exhibit AA 809-A.

Tustin Avenue and First Street NW Annexation No. 2
To The City of Santa Ana California
All that certain territory situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
~eginning at a point in the existing Easterly boundary of the City of Santa
na, said point being the Northeast corner of the "Tustin Avenue and First
Street NW Annexation" to the City of Santa Ana;
Thence along the said existing City boundary in a generally Westerly, Northerly,
Easterly, Southerly and Easterly direction as established by the said "Tustin
Avenue and First Street NW Annexation", by the "First and Tustin W. Annex",
by the "Tustin and Fourth SW Annex No. l", and by the "Tustin and Fourth,
East Annex" 20 feet to an angle point in the existing boundary of the City
of Tusttn, said angle point being the Northwest corner of the "Andrew R. Morris
Annexation" to said City of Tustin;
Thence along the said existing boundary of the City of Tustin South 0° 18' 25"
East 167.5' + to the point of Beginning.
