ORDINANCE NO. NS - 1499
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 2-603 BY PROVIDING FOR
THE EXPANSION OF THE LIBRARY BOARD
TO SEVEN MEMBERS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
That Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 2-603 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-603. Board - Established; membership; terms of
office.
There is reestablished and continued in existence,
a library board of the city which shall consist of seven (7)
members to be appointed by the city council. Members of
said board shall hold office for a period of four (4) years
and until their successors are appointed and qualified. The
present members shall serve out their terms of office as
heretofore provided.
