NS-1S00 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING MINIMUM LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO PARTIES CONTRACTING WITH THE CITY KLG:ar 8/16/79 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a section and article to Chapter 2 thereof, which said section and article read as follows: ARTICLE VII. Liability Insurance Requirements for Contractors Sec. 2-750. Contractors' Insurance Requirements. Except as otherwise provided in this Santa Ana Municipal Code, each person, firm or association who or which contracts with the City to perform any services to, for, or on behalf of the City shall provide to the City evidence, in form acceptable to the City Attorney, of liabil- ity insurance which protects the interests of the City in at least the following minimum limits of liability: (1) As to each such person, firm or association who or which provides to, for, or on behalf of the City vehicular transportation services for persons: not less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) per person and occurrence for bodily inj'ury and One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) each occurrence for property damage, or One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) combined single limit, or such other limits as the City Council may specify in any such contract. (2) AS to each other such person, firm or associa- tion who or which provides other services to, for, or on behalf of the City: Not less than the limits of liability which the City Council may specify by Resolution.
