ORDAIN AS
ORDINANCE NO. NS-1571
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA PROHIBITING NEW CONSTRUCTION
LOCATED IN THE FRENCH PARK
ON
PROPERTY
AREA FOR AN INTERIM PERIOD PENDING
REVISION OF ZONING REGULATIONS WITHINm~'
SUCH AREA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Except as hereinafter no
new construction or major addition to or of any
building or structure shall be permitted in the
generally bounded by Bush Street on the west, Washington
Avenue, Lacy Street, and Wellington Avenue on north, by
the alley between Garfield and Poinsetta Str. on the
east, and by Civic Center Drive on the hereinafter
referred to as the "French Park Area," and fully
delineated as the "Subject Site" on the m attached hereto
as "Exhibit A" and incorporated herein reference; and no
building permit, conditional use permit variance, or other
entitlement of development shall be for any such

THEREFORE, the City Council declares that this
ordinance shall take effect, and be adopted, as an emergency
measure and is to be enforced from the date of adoption in
accordance with the Charter of the City of Santa Ana.
