NS- 1703 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WESTMINSTER AVENUE AND LA BONITA STREET FROM THE C2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL), C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIA~ AND R1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICTS TO THE R2-PRD (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE - PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 887 has been filed to make certain changes in the zoning district designations of certain real property, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after duly noticed public hearing, has recommended approval of the changes in use district designations as proposed in said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has reviewed the initial environmental study (I.S. NO. 83-104) prepared for this project, and has approved the Negative Declara- tion for this project based thereon; and WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing, has determined that the changes in use district designations pro- posed in the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public necessity, convenience and general welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. Those parcels of real property located generally on the southeast corner of Westminster Avenue and La Bonita Street in the City of Santa Ana, and more specifically described as follows: ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1703 PAGE TWO Lot 23 of Tract No. 3523 as per map recorded in Book 125, Pages 22 and 23, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; and the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the East 10 acres of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of S9, T5S, R10W, San Bernadino base, as per map recorded ia Book 51, Page 12, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California are hereby reclassified from C2 (General Commercial), C5 (Arterial Commercial) and R1 (Single Family Residential) Districts to the R2-PRD (Multiple Family Residence - Planned Residential Development District. 2. An amended Sectional District Map NO. 9-5-10 showing the abovedescribed changes in use district designations is hereby adopted.
