HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-1707REL:adg 11/9/83 ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1707 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING ORDINANCES NO. NS-1674 AND NO. NS-1675 TO ALLOW CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT FOR WHICH PLANS HAD BEEN APPROVED PRIOR TO THE ADOPTION OF SAID ORDINANCES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Ordinance No. NS-1674, adopted by this Council on March 21, 1983 is hereby amended by adding a section thereto, to be numbered 20, which said section reads as follows: "SECTION 20: Section 41-617(mm) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, as added by Section 14 of this Ordinance No. NS-1674, shall not prevent the development and use of property in accordance with the off-street parking requirements of the Santa Ana Municipal Code as they existed prior to the effective date of this Ordinance No. NS-1674 if building permit application plans for such development have been approved by the Department of Plan- ning and Development Services prior to the date of adoption of this Ordinance No. NS-1674. Any such development and use of property in non-compliance with said Section 41-617(mm) shall be deemed a legal non-conforming use under the zoning ordinances of the City of Santa Ana." SECTION 2~ Ordinance No. NS-1675, adopted by this Council on March 21, 1983, is hereby amended by adding a section, to be numbered 4, which said section reads as follows: "SECTION 4: The C5 (Arterial Commercial) use dis- trict regulations, as made applicable to certain real property in the City of Santa Ana by Section 1 of this Ordinance No. NS-1675, shall not prevent the develop- ment and use of property in accordance wih the C2 (General Commercial) use district regulations as they existed and applied to such property prior to the effective date of this Ordinance No. NS-1675 if build- lng permit application plans for such development have been approved by the Department Services prior to the date of adoption of this Ordinance No. NS-1675. NS- 1707 PAGE TWO Any such development and use of property in non- conformity with said C5 (Arterial Commercial) use district regulations shall be deemed a legal non- conforming use under the zoning ordinances of the City of Santa Ana."
