NS-1880 REL: adg-7 9/23/86 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO. 20 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, on April 2, 1984, by its Ordinance No. NS-1724, adopted Specific Development Plan No. 20 for that area of the City of Santa Ana located on the north side of Civic Center Drive West between Louise Street and Flower Street; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after duly noticed public hearing, has recommended approval of a certain amendment to said Specific Development Plan No. 20 as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that Paragraph D of Section 5 of Specific Devel- opment Plan No. 20 is hereby amended to read as follows: "D. Buffer yard - For all non-residential devel- opment, there shall be a landscaped buffer yard of not less than 15 feet along any property line adjacent to property which is either zoned R1 or is developed as a single family residence. All required buffer yards shall be landscaped with the following plantings~ two 24' box trees, three 15 gallon trees for each 30 feet of yard. Vertical plantings and shrubbery which act as a buffer shall be emphasized. Ground cover is also required. Parking area shall not count toward any buffer yard area."
