ORDINANCE NO. NS-2016
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
ADDING SECTIONS 14-45 AND 14-46 TO
THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE, AMENDING
SECTION 14-49 THEREOF, AND REPEALING
ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 14 THEREOF, TO
PROHIBIT FIREWORKS IN THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA EXCEPT AT SUPERVISED PUBLIC DISPLAYS.

SECTION 2: That the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby
amended by adding a section, to be numbered 14-46, which said
section reads as follows:
Sec. 14-46. Bond or Insurance Requirement. (Section 78.103
Section 78.103 of the Uniform Fire Code is amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 78.103. The permittee shall furnish a bond or certifi-
cate of insurance in an amount established by resolution of
the City Council for the payment of all damages which may be
caused either to a person or persons or to property by reason
of the permitted display and arising from any acts of the
permittee, his agents, employees or subcontractors.

Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
