ORDINANCE NO. NS-2121
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 4922 AND 4926 WEST FIFTH
STREET FROM THE A-1 (GENERAL
AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO THE R2
(TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Amendment Applications Numbers 1049 and 1050
have been filed to make a certain change in the zoning district
designation of certain real property, as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance,
has reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this
project, and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project
based thereon; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing
has determined that the change in use district designation proposed
in the abovesaid Amendment Application is justified by the public
necessity, convenience and general welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. Those parcels of real property located generally at 4922
and 4926 West Fifth Street in the City of Santa Ana, and more
specifically located as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the
A-l (General Agriculture) District to the R-2 (Two-Family
Residential) District.

2. An amended sectional District Map No. 9-5-10 showing the
above described change in use district designation is hereby
adopted.
