AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH
OF SANTA ANA BOULEVARD BETWEEN ROSS
STREET AND BROADWAY TO THE C3 (CENTRAL
BUSINESS) DISTRICT AND REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
THIRD STREET BETWEEN ROSS STREET AND
FLOWER STREET TO THE P (PROFESSIONAL)
DISTRICT (AA NO. 1053)

WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 1053 has been filed to make
certain changes in the zoning district designations of certain
property located south of Santa Ana Boulevard between Ross Street
and Broadway and of certain property located on the north side of
Third Street between Ross Street and Flower Street as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREAS, this council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has
reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project,
and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project based
thereon; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has
determined that the change in use district designations proposed in
the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public
necessity, convenience and general welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. Those parcels of real property designated in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby
reclassified from the P (Professional) district to the C3 (Downtown
Business) district.
2. Those parcels of real property designated in Exhibit B,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby
reclassified from the R3 (Multiple-family residence) and C2
(General Commercial) districts to the P (Professional) district.
3. Nothing herein alters the boundaries of height district II
as previously established.
4. Amended Sectional District Map number 12-5-10 showing the
