ORDINANCE NO. NS-2157
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. NS-1985
TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION OF
THE CABLE TELEVISION ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. NS-1985 added section 2-325 to
the Santa Ana Municipal Code, setting the level of compensation
for boards and commissions of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the level of compensation fixed by said
ordinance for the community Cable citizens Board is $25.00 per
meeting, limited to one (1) meeting per month; and
W~EREAS, Ordinance No. NS-2025 reconstituted the
Community Cable citizens Board and renamed the Board the "Cable
Television Advisory Board"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to increase the
compensation of the Cable Television Advisory Board to reimburse
the voting members by $25.00 per month as reimbursement for
subscriber basic television services, for a total of $50.00 per
month, limited to one (1) meeting per month, and to exclude
specifically the non-voting members of the Cable Television
Advisory Board from receiving compensation for attendance at
Board meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

hereby~am~nd~d~ whic~ Sai~ section reads as follows:
Sec. 2-325. Compensation for members of boards, commissions.
The members of the following boards and commissions of the
city shall receive the compensation as set forth herein:
(a)
Community redevelopment commission, fifty dollars
($50.00) per meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per
month, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per month
automobile allowance.
(b) Personnel board, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting.
(c)
Planning commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per
meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus
fifty dollars ($50.00) per month automobile allowance.
(d)
Uniform code appeals board, fifty dollars ($50.00) per
meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus
twenty dollars ($20.00) per month automobile allowance.

Board of recreation and parks, twenty-five dollars
($25.00) per meeting, one (1) meeting maximum per
month, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) per month
automobile allowance.
Cable television advisory board, fifty dollars ($50.00)
per meeting, one (1) meeting maximum per month for each
voting member.
Human relations commission, twenty-five dollars
($25.00) per meeting, one (1) meeting maximum per
month, provided, however, one (1) additional meeting
per month is authorized if an additional neighborhood
mediation meeting is necessary.
Housing advisory commission, twenty-five dollars ($25.
00) per meeting, one (1) meeting maximum per month.
Library board, twenty-five dollars ($25. 00) per
meeting, one (1) meeting maximum per month.
Transportation advisory board, twenty-five dollars
($25.00) per meeting, one (1) meeting maximum per
month.
