ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2169
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO.
52 TO ALLOW AUTOMOBILE REPAIR USES
SUBJECT TO THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT
WHEREAS, this Council, by its Ordinance No. NS-2007, adopted
May 1, 1989, rezoned certain property located generally at 2015
North Tustin Avenue, and more specifically described in said
ordinance, to the SD (Specific Development) District and adopted
Specific Development Plan No. 52 for such property; and
WHEREAS, as originally adopted, Specific Development Plan No.
52 did not allow automobile repair uses other than certain
automobile service uses involving minor repairs; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to allow other automobile repair
uses provided they are subject to the ability of the City to
condition and limit such uses through the conditional use permit
process;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN that Specific Development Plan No. 52 is amended by adding
item 6 to section C thereof, to read as follows:
6. Subject to the issuance of a conditional use
permit, automobile repair uses not otherwise
permitted by this plan.
