ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2295
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO.
19 TO ALLOW CARE HOMES IN THE FRENCH
PARK HISTORIC DISTRICT SUBJECT TO THE
ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
WHEREAS, this Council, by its Ordinance No. NS-1723, adopted
April 2, 1984, rezoned property in the area known as French Park,
more specifically described in said ordinance, to the SD (Specific
Development) District and adopted Specific Development PlanNo. 19
for such property; and
WHEREAS, as originally adopted,
52 did not allow care homes; and
Specific Development Plan No.
WHEREAS, it is now desired to allow care homes in the French
Park Historic District, provided they are subject to the ability of
the City to condition and limit such uses through the conditional
use permit process;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN that Specific Development Plan No. 19 is amended by adding
item F to section 3 thereof, to read as follows:
F. Care homes, subject to the issuance of a
conditional use permit.
