AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING
THOSE PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
PRESENTLY INCLUDED IN LM (LIMITED MANUFACTUR-
ING) OR CM (COMMERCIAL MANUFACTURING) USE
DISTRICTS TO THE Mi (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) OR C2
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) USE DISTRICTS (AA NO. 96-
6A)
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 96-6 has been filed to
rezone those properties in the City of Santa Ana presently included
in LM (Limited Manufacturing) or CM (commercial Manufacturing) use
districts to the M1 (Light Industrial) use district as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has
reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project,
and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project based
thereon; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has
determined that the change in use district designations proposed in
the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public
necessity, convenience and general welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. That certain real property designated in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby
reclassified from the CM (Commercial Manufacturing) district to the
C2 (General Commercial) district.
2. That certain real property designated in Exhibit B,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby
reclassified from the LM (Limited Manufacturing) district and the
C5 (Arterial Commercial) district to the M1 (Light Industrial)
district.
3. That certain real property designated in Exhibit C,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby
reclassified from the CM (Commercial Manufacturing) district to the
M1 (Light Industrial) district.
4. Amended Sectional District Maps numbers 25-5-10 and 7-5-9,
showing the above described change in use district designations,
are hereby approved.
