ORDINANCE NO. NS-2319
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REZONING VARIOUS PROPERTY LOCATED ON
NORTH BUSH STREET, EAST 20TH STREET AND
NORTH SPURGEON STREET FROM THE R-3
(MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT
TO THE R-2 (TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL)
DISTRICT (AA NO. 96-16)
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 96-16 has been filed to
make certain changes in the zoning district designations of various
property located on North Bush Street, East 20th Street and North
Spurgeon Street as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has
determined that the change in use district designations proposed in
the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public
necessity, convenience and general welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. That certain real property located at 2003, 2015, 2025,
2033, 2035, 2053, 2057, 2059, 2061 North Bush Street; 211, 215,
219, 221, 223, 227 East 20th Street; and 1714-1919 North Spurgeon
Street and designated in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the
R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) district to the R-2 (Two-Family
Residential) district.
2. Amended Sectional District Map number 6-5-9, showing the
above described changes in use district designations, is hereby
approved.
