ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2324
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY GENERALLY BOUNDED BY DORMA/~
STREET, FAIRMONT STREET, AND LINCOLN AVENUE
LOCATED FROM THE TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE
DISTRICT (R2) TO THE SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
ZONE DISTRICT (RI) (AA NO. 96-15)
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 96-15 has been filed to
make certain changes in the zoning district designations of certain
property generally bounded by Dorman Street, Fairmont Street, and
Lincoln Avenue as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has
determined that the change in use district designations proposed in
the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by the public
necessity, convenience and general welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. That certain real property generally bounded by Dorman
Street, Fairmont Street, and Lincoln Avenue and designated in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is
hereby reclassified from the R2 (Two-Family Residential) district
to the R1 (Single-Family Residential) district.
2. Amended Sectional District Map number 7-5-9, showing the
above described changes in use district designations, is hereby
approved.
