NS - 2361 180 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS 12.123, 12-125, 12-156, 12-62, 22-3 AND 22-5. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the Santa ,qna Municipal Code is hereby amended to delete sections 12-123(e), 12-125(d), 12-156(g), 12-156(h), 12-62(e), 22-3(e) and 22-5(d). SECTION 2: That the Santa Aha Municipal Code is hereby amended to enact sections 12-123(e), 12-125(d), 12-156(g), 12-156(h), 12-62(e), 22-3(e)and 22-5(d)which are consistent with current law. Sec. 12-123. Figure model studio permit [application.] (e) The chief of police shall have thirty (30) calendar days in which to investigate the application and background of the applicant. The chief of police or his representative shall render a recommendation as to the approval or denial of the permit to the city manager. The department &building safety and housing, the fire department, and the Orange County Health Department shall inspect the premises proposed to be devoted to the figure model studio and shall make separate recommendations~to the city manager concerning compliance with applicable laws. The proprietor of such establishment shall pay a fee established by resolution &the city council to the county health officer as reimbursement for the county health officer% public health and sanitation services for &aid inspection. The chief of police or his representative shall render a recommendation as to the approval or denial of the permit to the city manager. Sec. 12.156. Application for escort bureau or introductory service permit; contegits; renewals; required fees. (g) The chief&police shall have thirty (30) calendar days after the date of the filing of the application in which to investigate the application and, render a written recommendation to the city manager, as to approval or denial of the application for the permit or renewal thereof. (h) The city manager, within fifteen (15) calendar days after receiving the application and aforementioned recommendation from the chief of police, shall grant the permit, or renewal thereof, only if he finds that all of the following requirements have been met: Sec. 12-162. Escort permit; renewal application. (e) The chief of police shall-have thirty (30) calendar days in which to investigate the application and background &the applicant. The chief&police, or his representative, shall, within thirty (30) calendar days after the date &the filing &the application, render a written recommendation to the city manager as to approval or denial of the application for the permit or renewal thereof. Sec. 22-3. Massage establishment permit application. (e) The chief of police shall have thirty (30) calendar days in which to investigate the application and background of the applicant. The chief of police or his representative shall render a recommendation as to the approval or denial of the permit to the city manager. The department of building safety and housing, the fire department and the Orange County Health Department shall inspect the premises proposed to be devoted to the massage establishment and shall make separate recommendations to the city manager concerning compliance with the foregoing provisions. The proprietor of such establishment shall pay a health service fee as established by the County of Orange. Such fees shall be paid directly to the county health officer to be retained by the county as reimbursement for such inspection. Sec. 22-5. Massage technician permit [application.] (d) The chief of police shall have thirty (30) calendar days in which to investigate the application and background of the applicant.
