AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA REZONING PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED AT 1312 THROUGH 1336 WEST SANTA ANA
BOULEVARD FROM COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL (C1) TO
SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R1)

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:
Amendment Application No. 01-01 has been filed with the City of Santa
Ana to change the zoning district designation by the owner of certain real
property generally located at 1322 West Santa Ana Boulevard from
Community Commercial (C1) to Single-Family Residential (R1). At staffs
suggestion, this application was increased, in order to eliminate inconsistent
zoning designation, to change the zoning district designation of certain
real property generally located at 1312 through 1336 West Santa Ana
Boulevard from Community Commercial (C1) to Single-Family Residential
(R1)
The Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on this matter,
a at its regular meeting of Mamh 12, 2001, At the conclusion of its
consideration, the Planning Commission voted unanimously 6:0 to
recommend that the City Council adopt this amendment.
This Council, prior to taking action on this ordinance, has held a duly
noticed public hearing, on Amendment Application No. 01-01.
The potential environmental impacts of this approval are adequately
evaluated in previously prepared Environmental Impact Report (EIR) No.
97-01.
Section 2. The Single-Family Residential (R1) district designation as proposed
in Amendment Application No. 01-01, is hereby found and determined to be consistent
with the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana and otherwise justified by the public
necessity, convenience and general welfare.
Section 3. That certain real property generally located at 1312 through 1336
West Santa Ana Boulevard from Community Commercial (C1) to Single-Family
Residential (R1).

Section 4. Amended Sectional District Map number 11-5-10, showing the above
described change in use district designation, is hereby approved.
