RESOLUTION CONCERNING PARKING I.I~¥:IT~IONS
UNDER ORD~,ANC~ NO. 1030
AS A~,.END~D BY ORDINANCE NO. 1336
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, by Resolutions
Council of the City of Santa Aha,
1945, and on the 1st day of March,
AS
Nos. 3401 and 3645 of the City
adopted on the 2nd da7 of July,
1948, respectively, pursuant
to the provisions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California,
and pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1030 of the City
of Santa Ana, entitled "An Ordinance Regulating the Use of Public
Highways Within said City", adopted April 6, 1936, the City Council
did declare thst the following curb along the public highways in
the City of Santa Ana shall be painted Yellow as provided in
Subdivision "h" of Section 9 of said Ordinance No. 1030, and the
City Engineer was thereby directed to cause the curb to be painted
as above described on the following curb, to-wit:
SOUTR MAIN STREET
On the West side between First and Walnut Streets,
located as follows:
The Southerly 73
The Southerly 20
AND,
feet of the Northerly 222 feet.
feet of the Northerly 124 feet.
it is the desire of the City Council to abandon
and eliminate those certain loading zones as above described.
NOW TH~REFORE, be it resolved that the foregoing loading
zones are hereby eliminated, and the City Engineer is hereby
directed to cause the paint on said curb to be removed or covered.
BE IT FI~THER RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions
of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, and pursuant to
the provisions of said Ordinance No. 1030, as amended by Ordinance
No. 1336, the City Council does hereby declare that the following
curb along a public highway in the City of Santa Aha shall be
painted Red, as provided in Subdivision "e" of Section 9 of said
Ordinance No. 1030, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to
cause said curb to be painted Red, as follows, to-wit:
SOUTH MAIN STREET
On the West side between First and Walnut Streets,
located as follows:
The Southerly 17 feet of the Northerly 83.5 feet.
AI~, BE IT PD~TH~.m]~ RESOLVED, that pursuant to the pro-
visions of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, and
pursuant to the provisions of said Ordinance No. 1030, as amended
by Ordinance No. 1336, the City Council does hereby declare that
the following curb along a public highway in the City of Santa Aha
shall be painted green and shall bear a legend in white letters
thereon indicating that the maximum time limit for parking shall
be ten (10) minutes, as provided in Subdivision "f" of Section 9
of said Ordinance No. 1030, and the City Engineer is hereby
directed to cause said curb to be painted as above described,
on the following curb, to-wit:
SOUTH MAIN STREET
On the West side between First and Walnut Streets,
located as follows:
The Southerly 118.5 feet of the Northerly 293 feet.

Santa Ana, at its regular
