RESOLUTION ACCEPTING STREET WORK ON BRISTOL STREET

THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO TRANSFER TO TH~ CITY OF SANTA ANA,
fuNDS AT.LOCATED THEREFOR
W~REAS, heretofore on the 17th day of May, 1951 the City
Council of the City of Santa Aha passed and adopted Resolution No.
4085 requesting the County of Orange for a grant of aid in the sum
of Fort~ Thousand, Four Hundred and Seventy-three Dollars ($40,473.00)
out of the County's apportionment of the California Highway Users'
Tax Fund to widen Bristol Street on the east side thereof from Wil-
shire Avenue to Third Street; and
W%M~aEAS, On June 5, 1951 the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange passed and adopted a Resolution granting to and
making allocation of said sum of money for said work from said fund;
and
WW~W.EAS, the work contemplated by said Resolution has now
been completed;
NOW, TN~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha hereby accepts the work done in the widening
and resurfaciug of the east side of Bristol Street lying within the
limits of said City between Third Street and Wilshire Avenue and de-
clares said work completed in accordance with the Resolutions request-
ing and approving the same.
BE IT FURTM~.R RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha hereby
requests that the County of Orange reimburse said City for said work,
heretofore determined to be in the general County interest and as
requested by the City's Resolution No. 4085 and approved by said
County and that said reimbursement be in the amount of Forty Thousand
Four Hundred and Seventy-three Dollars ($40,473.00).
BE IT FURTB_m~ RESOLVED: That the City Clerk is hereby dj-
retted to forward to the County of Orange, a certified copy of this
Resolution together with the statement of the City Engineer showing
the expenditure of the money.
