RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, ROBERT S. DYE and FLORENCE ANNE DYE, husband and wife,
have presented to the City Council, a grant deed dated September 15,
1952 conveying that certain real property in the City of Santa ~na,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
All that portion of the following described property
lying Southerly of the Northerly line of Russell Avenue as
shown on a Map of Tract No. 953, recorded in Book 30, page
23, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia, extended Easterly to Flower Street:
The South 100 feet of the South two acres of the follow-
ing: Beginning at a point in the center of Fairview Avenue,
which point is South 0° 32' West 1318.6 feet distant from the
Northeast corner of the Southwest quarter of Section Thirteen,
Township Five South, Range Ten West, S. B. B. & M., running
thence South 0° 32' West along the East line of the Southwest
Quarter of said Section Thirteen, lO.19 ~hains to the North-
east corner of the lands formerly belonging to T. J. Harlan;
thence North 89° 38' West along the North line of said Harlan's
land 4.952 chains to the Southeast corner of land conveyed by
E. E. Hardy and wife to A. H. Anderson and wife by deed recorded
December 22nd,' 1910 in Book 183, page 73 of Deeds; thence North
0° 39' East along the East line oF said Anderson's land lO.l~2
chains to the center of Fairview Avenue, and thence North $9v
57' East 4.937 chains to the point of beginning. Excepting
therefrom that portion thereof previously granted for Flower
Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa ~na
accepts said deed and the property hereinabove described. The City
Clerk is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be recorded with the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Serifa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of September, 1952.
