CITY ATTORNEY AND FIXING THE CO~ENSATION
FOR THE POSITION
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Santa Aha became
effective on the 14th day of April 1953 at the hour of 8:00
P.M. and position of City Attorney becsme appointive there-
under thereby terminatin~ the former elective status of the
City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That John K. Colwell
be and he is hereby appointed as City Attorney of the City
of Santa Aha and the compensation for the position of City
Attorney is hereby fixed at $ 440.00 per month.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its special meeting held on the 14th day of
April, 1953.
