AND CLOSING 0F"~PORTION OF NINETEENTH STREET AND A PORTION
OF LOUISE STREET
V~EREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Santa Aha,
on the 16th of March, 1953, regularly passed and adopted Resolution
No. 53-34 declaring its intention to vacate and abandon portions of
Nineteenth and Louise Streets therein and hereinbelow described,
which said Resolution was regularly published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of said intention was duly posted as required
by Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, public hearing was regularly held on the 20th day of
April, 1953 at the hour of 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers in the
City Hall of Santa Aha, California upon. due notice in said Resolution
and said posted notices contained;
NOW, THEP~FORE, AFTER DUE HEARING, BE IT RESOLVED: That the
City Council of the City of Santa ~na hereby finds, from all the
evidence submitted, that those portions of Nineteenth and Louise
Streets hereinbelow and in said Resolution described, are unnecessary
for the present or prospective public street purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha hereby makes its Order vacating, abandoning and closing up
for street purposes, those certain parcels of real property being in
the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California and de-
scribed as follows:
That portion of Nineteenth Street as shown on a map of
Tract No. 1572 recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 48, at
Page 16, Records of Orange County, lying East of a line 40
feet Easterly from, measured at right angles to, and parallel
with the center line of Bristol Street;
That portion of Louise Street as shown on a map of Tract
No. 1572 recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 48, at Page 16,
Records of Orange County, lying Northerly from a straight line
drawn from a point on the Easterly line of Lot 31 in said
Tract 1572, 9.63 feet Southerly from the Northeasterly corner
of said Lot 31, to a point on the Westerly line of Lot ll in
said Tract 1572, 3.96 feet Southerly from the Northwesterly
corner of said Lot ll.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 20th day o~ April~ 1953.
