WHEREAS, heretofore, the City of Santa Ana acquired an easement
for sewer and incidental purposes, the description of which easement
is hereinbelow set out, which said easement was in the nature of
a ~wer lateral or house line and which said easement was never used
except for sewer lateral purposes and is not now necessary for pres-
ent or future use by the City of Santa Aha;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of
the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quitclaim
deed to remise, release and forever quitclaim to the W. T. GRANT
COMPANY, a Corporation, that certain real property in the City of
Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for sewer and incidental purposes, the center line
of which easement begins at a point $5' North of the Southwest
Corner of Lot 3 in Block 16 of the Town of Santa Aha, as per map
recorded in Book 2, page 51 of Niscella~eous Records of Los An-
geles County, California, thence East parallel to East Fourth
Street, 75 feet, as granted to the City of Santa Aha, by deed
recorded January ll, 1911 in Book 195, page 121 of Deeds, Orange
County, California,
and to deliver the same to the W. T. Grant Company together with a
certified copy of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of
December , 19 ~ .
