SETBACK LINES ON EAST FIRST STREET FROIv.~ THE SANTA FE TRACKS
TO THE EASTERLY CITY LIMITS
~HEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha has
recommended that a setback line be established on East First Street
from the Santa Fe Tracks to the Easterly City Limits as herein set
out and the City Council, after study and consideration, approves
the same;
NOW, THEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aris hereby declares its intention to establish a set-
back line as provided for in Sections 9155 through 9158, both in-
clusive, of the Santa Aha Municipal Code as follows:
A setback line on each side of East First Street,
parallel to the surveyed center line thereof and distant
at right angles, ~2 feet from said center line and extend-
ing from the Santa Fe Tracks to the Easterly City Limits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That 7:30 o'clock P. N. on the 18th
day of January, 1954 at the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
Third and Main Streets, Santa ~na, California is hereby estab.lished
as the hour and place when all persons having any objection to the
establishment of said proposed setback line may appear and present
any objection which they may have thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Cler~ of the Council is
hereby directed to publish notice of said hearing by publishing a
copy of this Resolu%ion once in the Santa Aha Independent, a news-
paper printed, published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha
and hereby designa%ed for that purpose, and the Engineer's Office
is direc,ted to post one copy of this Resolution conspicuously up-
on said Street in front of each block of said Street where said
setback line is proposed to be established. Both publication and
posting shall be made at least l0 days before the time of said
hearing.
