OWNED RF~LL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE ~YOR TO F~CUTE THE
ESCRO~,~ INSTRUCTIONS AND THE DEED
~EREAS, heretofore, the City Council authorized the ~ublica-
tlon of Notice Inviting Bids offering to purchase certain real prop-
erty belonging to the City of Santa Aha, improved by a dwelling~hause
and known and numbered as 915 W. Walnut Street, Santa Aha, C~lifor-
nia; and
'%~rHEREAS, HARRY D. DENT, Jr. submitted a sealed bid and at the
time fixed for the opening of bids, was found to be the only person
submitting a bid for said property and it was found that he submitted
a bid to purchase said property for the full purchase price of
$7,000.00 and submitted a cashier's check in amount of $800.00 with
his bid to guarantee that he would go through with the contract if
his bid were accepted; and
V~tEREAS, upon a call from the Mayor at open Council meeting, no
person appeared to raise said bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa ~na hereby accepts the bid of HARRY D. DENT, Jr. to
purchase that certaia real property described as:
Lot 21, Block P, Heil Tract, as per map thereof
recorded in Book 23 at Page 28, Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County,
for the sum of $7,000.00, accepts the payment of $800.00 outside of
escrow, authorizes and directs the Nayor to execute the escrow in-
structions with all escrow fees and title expense to be paid by pur-
chaser, and to execute the City's deed conveying said property to
said purchaser or to such persons as said purchaser may direct and
to deliver the same in escrow.

I, ERMA KEELER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the
Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and read to the said Council at its
regular meeting held on the l§th., day of January , 1955 and was
at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said Council by the
