WHEREA~, WILFBEB 1~. TAYLOR and ORVILLE J. GOODWIN, as
trustees under declaration of trust dated September 30, 1953, have
presented to the City Council a grant deed, dated January 6, 1954,
without consideration from the City, conveying property for street
purposes in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange,~ State of California,
described as:
That portion of Lot $ of the Mabury Tract, as shown on
a map thereof recorded in Book 165, at page 301 of Deeds,
records of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of said Lot $
distant thereon 1261.25 feet Easterly from the intersect-
ion of said Southerly line with the center line of English
Street, and running thence Easterly, along said Southerly
line, 60 feet; thence North 0o 40' 00" East 290 feet to a
line which is parallel with and distant North 0° 15! 24"
East 290 feet from said Southerly line; thence Westerly,
along said parallel line, 60 feet to a line which bears
North 0o 40- 00" East from the point of beginning; thence
South 0° 40! 00" West 290 feet to said point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included within Fifteenth
Street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instrueted to
cause said deed to be properly recorded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the . 17th . day of May, 1954.
