FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, DOXANDER P. LEONARD and EDNA M. LEONARD, husband and wife,
have presented to the City Council an easement deed dated March 23, 1954,
without consideration, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for surface drainage purposes only, over and along
the East 12 feet of the Nort~690.98 feet of Lot 14 of Potts, Borden
and Sidwell Tract, in the County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in book 4, at page 624 of Misce]laueous
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
The grantors herein, their successors and assigns, shall have the
right to use and maintain said 12 foot strip as a private roadway,
with access thereto at any point.
The easement deed is given for the purpose of providing drainage
for proposed Tract No. 2089, and if the map of said Tract No. 2089
is not recorded within one year from date, or if satisfactory drain-
age is provided along another route, the surface drainage easement
herein granted shall cease and be abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED ~D ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its adjourned regular meeting held on the 23th day of June , 1954.
