S'l'Km~,' PURPOSES
WNEREAS, FRED A MANGOLD and EDITH MANGOLD, husband and wife, have
presented to the City Council an easement deed for street purposes, dated
July 23, 1954, for valuable consideration in the amount of $589.95, con-
veying property in the City of ~anta Aha, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
The South ~O feet of the West 367 feet of that portion of Block A
of the A. B. Chapmen Tract, in the City of ~antaAna, County of Orange,
State of California, as surveyed by Fr.~W Lecouvreur in December, 1870,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the land conveyed to G. L.
Russell by deed recorded in book 1 g, p~ge 86s Deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California; thence East 12.58 chains to the Southwest
corner of the land conveyed to William Hughes by deed recorded
September 14, 1874, in book 31, page 103, Deeds, records of Los
Angeles County, California; thence North along the West line of the
land so conveyed to Hughes, 8 chains to the Southeast corner of the
land conveyed to Sarah A. Hubbard by deed recorded October 3, 1876,
in book 45, page 473, Deeds, records of LOs Angeles County, California;
thence West along the South line of the land so conveyed to Hubbard
12.58 chains to the East line of the land conveyed to said G. L.
Russell, hereinabove referred to; thence South along said East line
8 chains to the point of beginning.
EX~ING from said South 40 feet that portion thereof included
within the lines of Seventeenth Street on the South and Wright
Street on the West.
NOW~ TH~-EFO~E~ BE IT~ESOLFED: That the City of SantaA~ accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange Countys California.
