FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, CALVIN G. ROERS and ABLENE ROHRS, husband and wife,
have presented to the City Council an easement deed, dated July 29, 1954,
for valuable consideration in the amnuat of $508.90, conveying property
in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
The North 40 feet of that portion of the Northwest quarter of
Section 8, in Township 5 South, Range 9 West, San Ber~ardino Baae
and Meridian, described as follows:
Con~nencing at the Northeast corner of a tract of land conveyed
by deed datedApril 17, 1871 from Moses William Bradford to John
Patton Johnson, and recorded in book 16, page 622, Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence South 12.14 chains;
thence East 4.47 chains; thence North 12.12 chains; thence West 4.47
chains to the point of beginning;
EXCEPTING FROM said North 40 feet that portion thereof con-
tained within the lines of 17th Street on the North.
NOW, T~E~ BE IT BESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
