STREET PURPOSES
W~iEAS, JESSE OJEDA and LI~J.IAN M. OJEDA, husband and wife,
have presented to the City Council a grant deed, dated July 28, 1954, for
valuable consideration in the amount of $716.55, conveying property in the
City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The No~th ~X) feet of that portion of the Northwest quarter of
Section 8, in Township 5 South, Range 9 West, Sam Bernardino Base
and Meridian, in the City of Santa Ana, County of 0raage, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the tract allotted to
Rosa Soto in the partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Aha, in
1868, by decree in Case No. 1192, of the District Court of the 17th
Judicial District of the State of California, in and for the County
of Los Angeles; running thence South 541.2 feet thence West 415.4
feet; thence North 541.2 feet and thence East 415.4 feet to the
point of beginning;
EXom~fING 'faF~i~'aOM the East 96 feet of the North 196 feet thereof;
ALSO EXo~FTING FROM said North 40 feet that portion thereof included
within the line of 17th Street on the North and Mabury Street on the
East.
NOW, 'l'nm~mm~RE, BE IT BESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
