HomeMy WebLinkAbout54-155 ~A ~ T~T~RM~G ~I~ENATURE~LO' - ~N RESOLUTION NO. 0 C CILOFTH~ OF SANTA ANA, C E C AND EXTENT OF IMPROVE~ENTS NECESSARY FOR PARKING DISTRICT NO. l; MAKING OTHER DETEHMINATIONS AND ORDERING A WRITTEN REPORT UNDER SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMITATION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931- WHEREAS, a petition under the Vehicle Parking District Law of 1943 has been filed witn the Clerk of the Council and she has certified by filing her certificate with the City Council that said petition is signed by the requisite number of qualified signers. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT P2gSOLVED: That said petition contains all matters required by and that the said certificate of the Clerk of the Council is sufficient under the Vehicle Parking District Act of 1943. That, in general, the nature and extent of the work necessary to establish a parking lot on the property herein described is as follows: remove five buildings, two ~rees, sidewalks, drive slabs and dirt, to grade, shape and compact site, to apply rock base, prime coat and plant-mix surface, to paint stall marks, to install driveways, curbs, lights and time clock. That the boundaries of said district to be specially assessed to pay costs of said improvements and of the land acquisition for said site ama as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Main Street and Fourth Street; thence Easterly along the center line of said Fourth Street to the center line of Spurgeon Street; thence Northerly along the center line of said Spurgeon Stre®t; to the center line of Seventh Street; thence Westerly along the center line of said Seventh Street to the center line of said Main Street; thence along the center line of said Main Street to the point of beginning; as said streets are shown on a map of "Town of Santa Ana", recorded in Book 2, page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California. That said work and improvement shall be conducted under the provis&ons of the Vehicle Parking District Law of 1943. That the location of said proposed improvements is the North 100 feet of Block 17 as shown on a map of "Town of Santa Ana"~ recorded in Book 2, page 51 of Miscellaneous Maps of Los Angeles County, California. That Sidney L. Lowry is hereby employed to procure the required information and prepare and present to this City Council the written report on said work, acquisition and improvement required by said Special Assessment Investigation and Majority Protest Act of 1931- PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1954- ATTES~~ CLERK OF THE COUNCIL STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS CITY OF SANTA ANA ) I, ERMA KEELER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 1954, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: AYES, COUNCILMEN: William Jerome, J.
