PROPERTY FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, CHARLES ARTHUR BENNETT, a married man, has presented to
the City Council a grant deed, dated September 9, 1954, for valuable con-
sideration in the amount of $660.00, conveying property in the City of
Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for street purposes over the Northerly 50 feet of
the West half of that parcel of land described as follows: Co~nenc-
lng at the Northeast corner of Section 18, in Township 5 South,
Range 9 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, running thence
South 16.O95 chains; thence West 7.38 chains; thence North 16.095
chains; thence East 7.38 chains to the place of beginning, and
containing 11.88 acres, and being in the Stafford and Tustin
Allotment of said Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, in said Orange
County.
EXCEPTING from said Northerly 50 feet that portion thereof
included within the lines of East First Street.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
said deed end the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed
to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
P~SED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 20th day of September ,
1954.
