HomeMy WebLinkAbout54-160RESOLUTION NO. 5k-150 ACCEPTING GRANT DEED OF PROPERTY FOR STREET PURPOSES WHEREAS, MELADE R. GABRIEL and RACHEL GABRIEL, husband and wife, b~ve presented to the City Council a grant deed, dated September 10, 1954, for valuable consideration in the amount of $50.00, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: An easement for street purposes over the northerly 34.45 feet of the following: Beginning at a point on the north line of Section 18, Town- ship 5 South, Range 9 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in said Orange County, 1164.O2 feet west of the northeast corner thereof, said north line being the center line of east First Street; thence east along the north line of said Section 141.94 feet; said point being located 30 feet north of the northwest corner of land con- veyed to Dorothy C. Brown by deed recorded August 10, 1917, in Book 308, page 193, Deeds, Records of said Orange County; thence south 364.5 feet; thence west 196.94 feet to a point; said point being in a line extended from a point in the north line of said Section 55 feet west of the point of beginning; southerly to a section of railroad, set in the easterly line of the right of way of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company; thence north O0© 51' east along said line 144.50 feet to a point m~rked by a lead plug in a concrete block; thence north 74° 19' 55" east 55.95 feet to a point marked by a lead plug in a concrete block; thence north 5© 02' east 50.08 feet to a one-inch pipe; thence north 155 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPTING from said northerly 34.45 feet that portion thereof included within the lines of East First Street. NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha accepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~bh day of Septe~ber , 1954.
