FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, EENN~.qfH B. EDWAKDS, a single man, has presented to the City Council
a grant deed, dated September 29, 1954, for valuable consideration in the amount of
$1,043.00, conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, described as:
An easement for drainage purposes, including but not limited to the in-
stallation, maintenance, repair and replacement of drainage pipe lines over,
under and across that portion of a strip of land 20 feet in width being l0
feet on either side measured at right angles to a straight line between a
point on the center line of First Street, 1247.84 feet East of the center
line of Sullivan, and a point on the North line of Lot 5, in Tract No. 270,
in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
a map thereof recorded in book 13, page 48, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, 3.4 feet Westerly from the Northeast corner of said
Lot 5, lying within the following described property:
Beginning at a point in the center line of First Street, in the City of
Santa Ana, California, which said point is distant Easterly, measured along
said center line 410.56 feet from the intersection of said center line of
First Street, with the center line of Sullivan Street, and r, mning thence
from said point of beginning Northerly parallel with said center line of
Sullivan Street, 602.32 feet to a point in the South line of that certain
tract of land described in deed to E. C. Amling & P. F. Amling, recorded in
book 393, page 90, Deeds, records of said Orange County, said South line be-
ing the Westerly extension of the center line of Third Street in the City of
Santa Aha; thence Easterly along said extension of the center line of Third
Street 1054.00 feet to a point, being the Northwest corner of a certain tract
of land conveyed to Evelyn M. Trueblood and Benj-m~u H. Trueblood by Grantors
herein by deed dated April 24, 1946; thence Southerly parallel with the center
line of Sullivan Street and along the Westerly line of the tract so conveyed
to Evelyn M. Trueblood and Benjamin H. Trueblood, 602.32 feet to a point in
the center line of First Street; thence Westerly along the center line of
First Street 1054.00 feet to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEHEFOBE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deed
and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be recorded
with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
