HomeMy WebLinkAbout54-175RESOLUTION NO. 54-175 APPROVING MAP, DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE PUBLIC SERVICE E~ IN TRACT NO. 2019 WqtEREAS, heretofore, the City Council has by Resolution No. 54-169 vacated al l of the street easements within Tract No. 2019 on the request of the owner of the land and the Santa Aha Bossed of Education; and W~, the fact that there had been public service easements dedicated at the same time and in the same ~nuer as said streets were dedicated, which will serve no present and prospective purpose if said property is not to be devoted to a residential subdivision, did not then come to the attention of this City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby adopts the map attached hereto and orders that the same be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Council with this Resolution and hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon all public service easements within the boundaries of Tract No. 2019 as shown on said map. That the 6th day of December, 1954, at the hour of 7:30 P. }4. on said day, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Third and Main Street in the City of Santa Aaa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of public service easements in Tract No. 2019. That the City Council hereby declares its intention to proceed with this vacation under the provisions of Public Service Easements Vanation Law, Government Code Section 50430 to Section 50445, both inclusive. That the Clerk of the Council is hereby ordered to publish this Resolution as notice of said hearing in two successive issues of the Santa Ana Independent and the City Engineer is ordered to post notices of this easement vacation along the line of the easements herein proposed to be vacated not more than 300 feet apart, but at least three notices shall be posted along each separate easement; said posting to be completed at least 20 days before the date of said hearing.
