EXCESS OF TWO HOURS ON SEVENTEENTH STREET BETWR~N
~AIN AND FLOWER STREETS.
WHEREAS, SEVENTEENTH STREET from Main Street west has
~pidly become a business street and not all of the property
owners have made provision for adequate off-street parking
which does now and will in the future continually result in
parking congestion and in restraint and restriction of trade
along said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That under the authority
of Section 3216 of the Santa Aha Municipal Code the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana does hereby provide and declare that no
person shall park any vehicle upon any portion of West Seventeenth
Street, between the west line of Main Street and the east line of
Flower Street, and leave the same so parked for a period of time
longer than two hours, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A. N.
and 6:00 o'clock P. M. of any day, except Sundays and holidays.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Engineer is hereby
directed to cause signs to be posted along both sides of said portion
of Seventeenth Street, at least two to the block,
such parking limitation and prohibition.
