WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 729, the Planning Commission, after due
hearing, recommended that a variance as requested by Application No. 573, be
denied~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after considering all the facts, disagreed
with ~he denial of said Variance.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana hereby grants a variance to effect the Lot 17, Block A, in Tract
No. 253, which has a street address of 936 W. Myrtle Street, City of Santa Ana,
California, to allow the operation of a Nursery School between the hours of
8:30 A. M. and ll:30 A. M., Mondays through Fridays, and to have not more
than 25 chi. ldren in attendance at any time, ranging in age from two and one-
half to five years, on the following conditions:
1. Tb~t the broken sidewalk adjacent to said property be completely
replaced,
2. That the children not be allowed off of said property~ and
3. That the backyard be completely enclosed.
PASSED AND ADOP'.'.:~ by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 17th day of January, 1955.
