ON PETITION UNDER IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1911
WHEREAS, heretofore on November 9~ 1954~ certain citizens in the area
of Roe Drive filed with the City a petition for proceedings under Improvement
Act of 1911 to extend the City's sewerage facilities north to West Orange Street,
and thereafter on November 19, 1954, the same people filed a waiver, as provided
for in Section 28011. of the Street and Highways Code of the State of California,
and
THEREAFTER~ ON February 11, 1955, the sa~ people f~]ed a petition re-
questing the right to withdraw the former petition hereinabove referred to and
requesting that t?~ Council take no further proceedings under said petitions.
NOW~ THEREFORE, after being fully advised in the premises~ the Council
of the City of Santa Aha does hereby resolve, as follows: That no proceedings
shall be had and no action shall 'be taken by reason of the original petition
filed on November 9, t95l~ or the supple~mntal petition filed on November 19,
1954, by reason of the withdrawal of all names from said petitions filed with
the Clerk of the Council on February 11, 1955, and no proceedings under the
Improvement Act of 1911~ or any other Act, shall be had.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE City Council of the City of 'Santa Ama at
its adjourned regular meeting held on the 14th day of February~ 1955.
