SERVICE OF AND COMMENDING RETIRING COUNCILMAN J. L.
McBRIDE.
WHEREAS, for the past thirty-six years Mr. J. L. McBride has been
continuously acting in the government of the City of Santa Aha, both as
an employee and as a Councilman, and
WHEREAS, he has given unselfishly of his wealth of exq~erience,
energy and time that our City might be a better place in which to live.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY '1'~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA: That we express the appreciation, not only of the official
body but of the citizens of the City of Santa Aha, for the continuance
and outstanding service of Mr. J. L. McBride, and on this his last day
as Council m,n of said City, we commend him and th~ him for the fellow-
ship he has given us and for the privilege we have had in working with
him on this City Council.
