GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has acquired land North of Eighth
Street, the Easterly l0 feet of which is unnecessary for any City purpose,
and
WHEREAS, said property is of value to widen the front of the lot
to the East thereof and as a part of the consideration for a grant of the
rear of said lot to the City, the City has agreed to convey the Southerly
125 feet of said strip to the owners of said lot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of
the Council are hereby authorized to execute and deliver a Grant Deed con-
veying to INEZ LOPEZ and FRANCIS LOPEZ, husband and wife, as joint-tenantsj
the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, described as:
The South 125 feet of the East l0 feet of that portion of the
Jacob Ross Allotment, described as follows:
Beginning 803.2 feet West of the Intersection of the West line
of Artesia Street with the North line of Hickey Street, as said
Artesia Street existed prior to September l, 1924, being 50 feet
in width; running thence East along the North line of Hickey Street,
70 feet to a point; thence North parallel to Artesia Stree% 355
feet to a point; thence West parallel with the North line of
Hickey Street, 70 feet to a point; thence South 355 feet to the
point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPf~ by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of May, 1955.
