TO VACATE AN U1VNA~;~D ALLEY BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND
STREETS, NEST OF LACY STREET, AND FIXING Tim ~'D PLACE
OF HEARING
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that an un-
named alley, herein described, be vacated and the City Council, after
study, has concluded that the same is unnecessary for present or pros-
pective street purposes and has caused a map thereof to be prepared;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the map attached hereto
is hereby approved and ordered filed with this Resolution and the
City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon that
certain unnamed alley in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
A ten foot alley connecting First Street and
Second Street, and lying between Lots 15 and 16 and
4 and 3 of Jennings and Foster Addition to Santa Ana,
as sho~vn on a map in Book 12, page 75 of the Official
Records of Los Angeles County, California.
That the 18th day of July, 1955, at the hour of ?:30 P. M.
on said day in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Third and Main
Streets in the City of Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed as the
time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation of said unnamed alley; and
That the City Council hereby declares its intention to proceed
with this street vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 19~l, Part 3, Division 9, of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California; and
That the Clerk of the Council is hereby ordered to publish this
Resolution in the manner prescribed by law for the publishing of Ordi-
nances of the City and the Director of Public Works is hereby ordered
to post conspicuously along the lines of said unnamed alley herein
proposed to be vacated, at least l0 days before the date of said hearing,
notices stating the passage of this Resolution of Intention and the
time and place of hearing; such notices shall be posted not more than
300 feet apart and at least 3 shall be posted along said alley herein
proposed to be vacated.
