COVERING ThE AHEA OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND TERRITORY
ADJACENT THERETO
WHEREAS, the rapid growth and development in the County of
Orange is increasingly causing greater volumes of traffic upon the
streets of the City; and
WHEREAS, the development taking place within the City of Santa
Aha has required planning studies for the logical and adequate de-
velopment of a Primary Street Plan to regulate width, ali~ment and
design of new or improved streets within said City; and
WHEREAS, after joint meetings between City and County Officials
and after meetings and study before the Planning Conmnission of the
City, the Planning Commission has recommended to the City Council
for adoption, a map showing proposed street development setting
forth primary streets for the future guidance of street work within
the City of Santa Aha;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That after study and mee~ings
as hereinabove set forth, the City Council of the City of ~anta Ana
does hereby adopt the map attached hereto marked "Exhibit A" which
shows primary streets, as a Primary Street Map for proposed street
development within the City of Santa &ua and within any area annexed
thereto as provided for in Section 9321.1 of the Santa Aha Municipal
Code and declares such map to be the Primary Street Map of said
City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the ?~h day of Nevember , 195~.
