ACCEPTING GRANT DEED
WHEHEAS, CONTINENTAL BAKING COMPANY, a Corporation, has pre-
sented to the C~ncil a grant deed dated December 12, 1955, con-
veying property described as:
An easement for street purposes in and over the property
described as follows:
Those portions of Lot 1 of Sepulveda Tract, in the City
of Santa Ama, County of Orange, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 31, Page 197 of Deeds, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
PARCEL 1: Beginning at the point of intersection of the
Southerly line of the land described in the deed to Continental
Baking Co., recorded on September 15, 1955, in Book 3209, Page
491 of Official Records of said County, with a line that is
parallel with and distant Westerly 30.00 feet, measured at right
angles, from the Northerly prolongation of the center line of
Pacific Avenue as shown on Map of Tract No. 1905, recorded in
Book 64, Pages 21 and 22 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County, thence along said paral-
lel line, North 0° 16' 46" West, 10~.92 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave to the Northwest and having a radius
of 25.00 feet; thence Southwesterly along said curve 39.19 feet
to a point in a tangent line that is parallel with and distant
Northerly, 80.00 feet, measured at right angles, from the South-
erly line of said land described in Book 3209, Page 491 of Offi-
cial Records; thence along said parallel line, South 89° 32' 15"
West, 157.83 feet, more or less, to a point in the Westerly line
of said land; thence along said Westerly line, South O° 28' 53"
East, 80.00 feet to the Southwest corner ofsaidoland; thence
along the Southerly line of said land, North 89 32' 15" East,
182.47 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: Beginning at the point of intersection of the
Northerly line of the land described in deed to Continental Bak-
ing Co., recorded on September, l%, 1955, in Book 3209, Page Qgl
of Official Records of said County, with a line that is parallel
with and distant Westerly 30.00 feet, measured at right angles,
f~om the Northerly prolongation of the center line of Pacific
Avenue, as shown on the Map of Tract No. 1905, recorded in Book
64, Pages 21 and 22 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County; thence along saidparallel line,
South 0° 16' 46" East, 67.08 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave to the Southwest and having a radius of 25.00 feet;
thence Northwesterly along said curve, 39-35 feet to a point in
a tangent line that is parallel with and distant Southerly 42.00
feet, measured at right angles, from ~he Northerly line of said
land described in Book 3209, Page ~91 of Official Records; thence
along said parallel line, South 89° 32' 1%" West, 158.64 feet,
more or less, to a point in ~he Westerly line of said land;
thence along said Westerly line, North 0° 28' 55" West, 42.00
feet to the Northwest corner thereof; thence along the Northerly
line of said land, North 89° 32' 15" East, 183.77 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 3: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the land de-
scribed in deed to Continental Baking Co., recorded on September
15, 1955, in Book 3209, Page ~91 of Official Records of said
Oounty, said point also being in the center line of First Street,
60 feet wide, distant thereon, South 89° 32' 15" West, 984.00
feet from the corner common to Sections ll, 12, 13 and 14, in
Township 5 South, Range 10 West in the Rancho Santiago de Santa
Aha; thence along the Easterly line of said lend, South 0° 28'
53" East, 368.00 feet to the Southeast corner of said land; thence
along the Southerly line of said land, South 89° 32' 15" West,
35.53 feet, more or less, to a point in a line that is parallel
with and distant Westerly 30.00 feet, measured at right angles,
from the Northerly prolongation of the center line of Pacific
Avenue, as shown on map of Tract No. 1905, recorded in Book 64,
Pages 21 and 22 of Miscellaneous ~aps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County; thence along said parallel line, North
0° 16, 46" West, 368.00 feet to a point in the Northerly line of
said land; thence along said Northerly line, North 89° 32' 15"
East, 34.23 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana ac-
cepts said deed and the Clerk of ~e Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of February , 1956.
